Day 1 : Arrive at Leh: Arrive at Leh airport from where you’ll be transferred to hotel in private vehicle. Check-in at the hotel. Acclimatizing to the altitude is very important journey before doing any activity so we take rest and venture out to the city market in evening for a casual stroll (on your own). Don’t exert your body, if you are feeling tired at any time during the day. Return to hotel in evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 : Local sight-seeing in and around Leh: Post breakfast and some leisure, head to visit the Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Hall of fame, confluence of Zanskar and Indus River - magnificent view of two rivers in wed-lock having different colors and flow and wilderness. Return to Leh in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 : LEH – Enroute Khardungla – “Nubra Valley: After breakfast at the hotel, brace yourself for the splendid drive over the mighty Khardung La – the 2nd highest motor able pass in the world at a height of 5602 M/ 18,380 ft. Over the route, the road dramatically plunges, and Shyok and Nubra Rivers unfold magically. You move on via Diskit to reach the white sands of Hunder. After freshening up, visit the Diskit monastery, which is believed to be the largest and oldest monastery in Nubra valley, and enjoy the sunset. Head back to the Swiss cottages camps by late evening. Overnight in Nubra.
Day 4 : Nubra – Leh (215 Km / 8 hrs. Journey): Post breakfast, begin your journey for the day, exploring the various villages of Nubra Valley. Retrace your steps past Diskit, to go to Khalsar. Walk your way to the ancient Gompa. Don’t forget to pack a lunch. Spend some time and then drive back over Khardung La to reach Leh by early evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 5 : Leh - Pangong-Tso (150 km / 5 hr. Journey): After breakfast, drive the mound of earthen monastic dwellings, crowned by the Gompa. The valley is blessed with a beautiful stream flowing through it, originating from the lake, giving a greenish tincture to the otherwise dry landscape around. Apart from flora this area is rich in fauna too. You can see a lot of Himalayan Marmots around the area. However, the main attraction of this circuit is the grand Pangong Tso, which you would reach by noon. The mesmerizing beauty and the fantastic view of Tso places it a league above anything you have seen so far. Return to Leh in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 : Pangong – Leh (Visit the Shanti Stupa): After breakfast drive back to Leh. On the way back, visit the Sindhu Ghat, Shey monastery, Thiksey monastery, Hemis monastery – the most powerful monastery in the Ladakh region. On reaching Leh, visit the Shanti Stupa. The sunset is the perfect backdrop you can wish for. Head back to the hotel by late evening. Overnight in Leh.
Day 7 : Leh – Tsomoriri (the road less taken): After Breakfast head for a route famously known as road less traveled. En route visit the Tangste, Harong and chusul. The fact that this route is so less taken already makes it feel like some exotic land. The colors of the mountains and the salt marches only add to the scene. Reach Tsomoriri by afternoon. The landscape is out of this world as you reach the shore, the mountains welcome you, gentle waves invite you the extravaganza and the clouds don't want to be left out, they will create some drama too! Sit on the white sand and enjoy the serenity! Dinner and overnight stay in Tsomoriri.
Day 8 : Tsomoriri to Leh: Wake up lazy morning. Start your journey back after a leisure breakfast overlooking the lake drive back to Leh. A good breakfast of hot tea and toast will the ideal refresher for the day ahead. Reach Leh by evening. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 9 : Leh to Stok village and back (Trek to the Base camp): This day we’ll head to Stok village where you’ll see a lot of trekkers going for Stok kangri trek. Meet with the travelers, hear their stories, and around noon follow the trekkers and head to the Stok base camp. Return to Leh in the evening from where you’ll be transferred to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10 : Bid the fairy land goodbye: In morning after breakfast, bid the Ladakh region Goodbye and board the flight back to home.
