Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, our guide will wait to welcome you and then transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Full Day Hanoi City Tour ( B)
Early hours we visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and have an insight of some interesting episodes of his life. Next attraction is the Museum of Vietnamese History with thousands of artifacts reflecting the origin and the entire length of the country’s evolution. It is not difficult to see the influence of Confucius in the way the Vietnamese think and behave. Let’s figure out what’s behind and visit the Temple of Literature. Afternoon we visit the Old Quarter. Follow our guide on foot passing through the quaint old streets, yet colorful and charming
with arrays of little houses and centuries old craft shops. Evening our curiosity will be given to the lively figurines in the famous water puppet performance. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B – L – D)
By vehicle from Hanoi to Halong Bay (160 kms)
Depart from Hanoi to Halong Bay; en route take a short stop for a break. Transfer with a tender to the comfortable cruise and enjoy a welcome drink aboard. Begin the cruise through majestic Halong Bay while lunch is served. Enjoy the magical bay where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragon's teeth. The cruise continues cruising through a fishing village on the bay and passes the spectacular limestone caves dotted around the bay. Soak up the sun on the top deck with optional on-board activities: sunbathing, and photo opportunities. Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B)
Aboard the traditional cruise through Halong Bay Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise that offer a perfect opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Day 5: Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh by Flight(B)
Breakfast at Hotel and enjoy your time.
Our guide and vehicle will pick you up at the hotel and transfer from Hotel to Noi Bai aiport. Take flight from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer from Tan Son Nhat Airport to Hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 6: Full Day Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B)
The vibrant metropolis Ho Chi Minh City teems with energy, activity and motion where traditional life meets modern life. The emerging modern skylines stand cheek by jowl with colonial buildings and traditional temples. Begin the tour and stroll around the Dong Khoi Street, formerly known as the Rue Cantinas which is the heart of old colonial Ho Chi Minh City. Pass by classic European-style landmarks such as the city Hall (Hotel De Ville), the Opera House and pay a quick visit to the neo - romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Continue the tour with a visit to the Re-unification Palace which formerly was the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese president. Continue to the War Remnants Museum which contains a comprehensive documentation of the long Vietnam American War. The tour continues with a visit to the historic centre where The Emperor of Jade Pagoda will be visited which is one of Ho Chi Minh City’s most interesting pagodas. In the afternoon, head out to Cho Lon (Chinatown) and explore the highlights of this fascinating area. Visit the Binh Tay Market. Then head off to the Thien Hau Pagoda which was build by the Cantonese congregation. End the tour and enjoy a visit to the central Ben Thanh Market where vendors display a vast variety of traditional goods and handicrafts. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 7: Excursion to Cu Chi Tunnel (B)
In the morning we drive out of town and visit Cu Chi Tunnels, a massive underground tunnel system built by the Viet Cong to support guerrilla warfare back in to the war time. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 8: Mekong Delta Full Day (B – L)
Excursion to My Tho with a boat trip to Mekong River islands. From Saigon, transfer to My Tho, a bustling town in the rich agricultural region of the Mekong Delta and visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, a beautiful temple which illustrates the splendid harmonious fusion of Asian and European architectural styles. Afterwards board a local boat to explore the Mekong River Islands, stopping at a fruit orchard to enjoy fruit and tea while listening to local music and Thoi Son islet. The trip also includes a brief sampan ride through the tiny waterways that thread the island. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 9: Departure (B)
At leisure till transfer time. If you have late flight we will arrange extra activities or accommodation upon your
