Day 1: Welcome to Paradise - Local sight-seeing in Srinagar -
Arrive at Srinagar Airport, our driver will pick you up and transfer to houseboat in private vehicle. Check-in at the houseboat and
have some rest. After some leisure, we’ll head to visit Cheshma Shahi, Nishat, Shalimar collectively known as the Mughal Gardens
in the heart of Srinagar city followed by Shankaracharya Temple located on hilltop, thus providing a panoramic view of the entire
city. You can also visit handloom centre famous for production of pashmina / shawls & world reckoned carpets. Return to houseboat
in evening for dinner and overnight stay.
*Optional - Shikara Ride at Nigeen Lake (can be arranged at additional charges if you want to).
Day 2: Srinagar - Sonmarg - Kargil (6-7 hrs. drive) -
Check out after breakfast and we’ll start our journey towards Kargil. Enroute you will come across the beautiful green valleys of
Kashmir which would transform into the dead cold desert of Ladakh region. Cross the Baltal and Zojila Pass to the small village of
Ghumri followed by the coldest inhabited place in India - Drass village. Reach Kargil in the afternoon where you can visit the famous
Kargil War Memorial. Check-in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Kargil to Leh via Lamayuru (6-7 hrs. Journey)
Wake up lazy morning. Check-out after breakfast and we’ll continue our journey towards Leh. Enroute you can visit Mulbekh
Monastery - it consists of two gompas, one Drukpa and another Gelugpa Buddhist monastery. After crossing the Fotu La (pass),
we’ll reach Lamayuru - Ladakh’s oldest monastery and is set in surreal surrounding also known as the Moonland, because of its
topography. Now continue our journey towards Leh. The drive further is one of the most spectacular journeys you will have. From
the mountains formed by amalgamation of various types and textures of rocks to the dazzling Zanskar Valley, accompanying you all
along the journey the white snow clad peaks, this route gives you an absolute picturesque landscape. Enroute visit the famous
Pathar Sahab Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill, and Confluence point (Sangam). Reach Leh in the evening, check in the hotel for dinner
and overnight stay.
Day 4: Day at Leisure -
After breakfast, you have a full day to relax and explore the areas around (on your own). Here are some suggestions from our end which can be arranged at an additional cost if you want to -
1. Village cycling trip in Choglamsar village
2. Visit Stok Heritage Palace
3. Heritage Walk through the Main City
4. Visit LAMO (Ladakh Art and Music Organization). Opening hours -
- Library open Monday to Saturday, 11 am to 5 pm.
- Visit LAMO - Monday to Saturday, 2 to 5 PM.
OR you can just relax and enjoy your meal at open air cafes in Leh market. You can find the list of local cuisines and famous
restaurants in Ladakh where you can have lip smacking food -

Day 5: Leh – Enroute Khardungla – Nubra Valley (5-6 hrs. Journey) -
In the morning after breakfast, brace yourself for the splendid drive over the mighty Khardung La – one of the highest motorable
Pass in the world at the height of 5602 M / 18,380 ft. Over the route, the road dramatically plunges, and Shyok and Nubra Rivers
unfold magically. You move on via Diskit to reach the white sands of Hunder. Spend some time on the white sand dunes here; do a
ride on the Double Humped Bactrian Camels if you want to (on your own). Visit the Diskit monastery, which is believed to be the
largest and oldest monastery in Nubra valley, and enjoy the sunset. Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra.
Day 6: Nubra to Pangong Tso via Shyok / Warila (5-6 hrs. Journey) -
Post breakfast, we’ll continue our journey towards Pangong Tso via Warila / Shyok village. Enroute explore the mound of earthen
monastic dwellings, crowned by the Gompa. The valley is blessed with a beautiful stream flowing through it, originating from the
lake, giving a greenish tincture to the otherwise dry landscape around. Apart from flora this area is rich in fauna too. You can see a
lot of Himalayan Marmots around the area. However, the main attraction of this circuit is the grand Pangong Tso, which you would
reach by early evening. The mesmerizing beauty and the fantastic view of Tso places it a league above anything you have seen so
far. Dinner and overnight stay near Pangong.
*Note - Camps at Pangong Lake has been shut down by the Govt. for this season. We’ll arrange your accommodation at Tangtse
(around 40 KM before Pangong) or any other alternate location. You can spend the day hours at Pangong Lake (only camping is

Day 7: Pangong to Tsomoriri - The Road Less Taken (7-8 hrs. Journey) -
Check-out after breakfast and we’ll head on the route famously known as road less traveled. The fact that this route is so less taken
already makes it feel like some exotic land. The colors of the mountains and the salt marches only add to the scene. Reach
Tsomoriri in the evening. The landscape is out of this world as you reach the shore, the mountains welcome you, gentle waves invite
you the extravaganza and the clouds don't want to be left out, they will create some drama too! Sit on the white sand and enjoy the
serenity of the place. Dinner and overnight stay in Tsomoriri.
TSOMORIRI LAKE - The largest of the High Altitude Lakes to be situated entirely within India. The remote high plateau of
Changthang (meaning northland) stretches from western Tibet into eastern Ladakh. It is situated at a height of 4595 m above sea
level .You can visit Korzok monastery at Tsomoriri which lies on the western bank of the lake. This region, known as the land of the
nomads, will give you an experience to last a lifetime. See the nomads traditional lifestyle and share a cup of butter tea in one of
their black yak-hair tents along the incredible oval-shaped bank of Tsomoriri. The lake changes its turquoise blue color with the light
and is surrounded by a picturesque landscape.
Day 8: Tsomoriri to Leh via Tanglang La (7-8 hrs. Journey) -
Wake up early morning. Check-out after breakfast and we’ll continue our journey towards Leh. Cross Puga Sumdo and then follow
the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs) crossing Tsokar Lake which is the home of the Changa nomads and support
many rare wildlife species. Take a pit stop at Tanglang La (5,328 m / 17,480 ft.) on Leh - Manali highway offering a panoramic view
of the snow capped hills and the valley beneath. If you're lucky, you'll get to experience the snowfall here.
After crossing Karu, we'll visit Shey Monastery and The Druk White Lotus School. Reach Leh in the evening. Check-in at the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 9: Leh to Jispa (335 KM / 10-11 hrs. Journey) -
Wake up early in the morning. Check-out after breakfast and bid the Ladakh region goodbye. We’ll start our journey towards Leh -
Manali highway and head to Jispa in private vehicle. Enroute visit the Tanglang La, Morey Plains, Gata Loops, Suraj Tal,
Lahchungla, Baralacha, etc. Reach Jispa late in the evening. Check-in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Jispa to Manali via Rohtang Pass (5-6 hrs. Journey) -
Check-out after breakfast and start your journey to Manali via Rohtang pass. Reach Manali in the evening and check in at the hotel.

Day 11: Explore Manali and head to Delhi -
Wake up lazy morning. Check out the hotel after breakfast and we'll head to visit Vasishta hot springs, the old Hidimba temple - take
a ride of the Yak if you want to. Explore the Manali main market (cab will drop you at taxi stand due to heavy rush from where you
can explore the market area on foot) just so that you don’t miss out on the mall road experience which every tourist craves for.
Basically, do the touristy stuff and rest so the basic checklist is cleared off! In afternoon, cab will drop you at Volvo stand - board the
Volvo back to Delhi. Overnight journey to Delhi.
Reach Delhi next morning. End of trip.

Hi, Would like to thank you for arranging a nice trip. I would like to add one small suggestion, first two days stay in Hotel Arya is not very great. The Hotel rooms were very cold and hospitality is not so great. Snow leopard was excellent. Javed has organized the trip very well.
