Day 1: Welcome to Madrid!
Upon arrival at the airport, we shall be waiting to transfer you to your hotel.
Check the informative panels in the hotel reception area for the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers to receive information about the circuit.
Towards the end of the day, we provide transfers to the Egyptian Debod temple, Plaza de España and Gran Vía, a vibrant district where you can dine at your preferred restaurant, Indian, Chinese, Spanish and Middle Eastern are some of the options.
Day 2: Madrid
Highlights: Guided tour and stroll through Retiro Park. Visit to Las Ventas Bullring (admission included) and transfer to Plaza del Oriente.
The day starts about 08.30 hrs with a comprehensive tour through the centre of Madrid including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor.
Visit to Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Admission to Las Ventas Bullring included. This is one of the most famous bullrings in the world where we will learn about the tradition of “corridas” in the Bullfighting Museum.
Enjoy the rest of the afternoon.
At sunset we provide a transfer to Plaza de Oriente, opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling area with many restaurants serving different exquisite cuisines (Indian, Middle Eastern, Muslim, Spanish, International) in which to enjoy a pleasant dinner. Return to hotel.
Day 3: Madrid - Granada
Total distance: 450 km
Scenery: The plains of La Mancha with the shadow of some mills and the great extensions of olive groves in the province of Jaén.
Note: if the group of English-speaking travelers is fewer than 10, they will share the trip to Granada with Spanish-speaking passengers).
08:00 hrs. - Madrid – departure. We travel to the South. We stop at PUERTO LÁPICE, a beautiful town of La Mancha plain evoking the figure of Don Quixote de la Mancha.
13:45 hrs. - GRANADA – Arrival at the hotel. After lunch, we head to the Alhambra to visit the palace and the gardens of the Generalife; Reservation and entrance included.
19.00 hrs.- Enjoy an evening transfer to the Albaicín of Granada, a World Heritage site along with the Alhambra, where you can enjoy dinner in a restaurant in the narrow winding streets of this captivating Medieval Moorish quarter. Tonight you have the option to attend a flamenco dance show and the traditional neighborhood of Sacramonte.
Note: In the Alhmabra complex, the Nazari palaces allow a limited number of people in at a time. Sometimes your visit may be in the afternoon, depending on the timetables in which we are allowed in. In the highly improbable case of not being able to visit this area of the Alhambra, a visit to the Alcázares, which have similar architecture and features, will be included in Seville.
Day 4: Granada - Malaga - Marbella - Ronda - Seville.
Total distance: 400 km
Scenery: Mediterranean and mountain scenery.
08:00h Granada – We set out for the Costa del Sol.
10.00 hrs- Málaga- Arrival and time for a stroll in the historic centre with its cathedral and the Picasso Museum.
11:30h.- We will leave Malaga and continue along the coastal motorway with beautiful views of the Mediterranean.
12.30 hrs.- Arrival at Puerto Banus, in Marbella, a pretty high level recreational port. Time for lunch and take a stroll on the marina, with its cosmopolitan, luxurious atmosphere.
15.00h Marbella – We leave for the mountains, which was once overrun by bandolliers.
16.30 h Ronda – Arrival at the “White City”, located in a magnificent natural setting with its large gorge that divides it in two. Time to explore.
18:00h Ronda – Continuation to Seville.
20:00h Seville – Arrival at the end of the afternoon.
Day 5: Seville - Madrid.
Highlights: Travelling in the high speed train. The journey has a length of 472 km and takes two hours and a half.
08:00 h. Comprehensive tour of Seville with a local guide. (If the English-speaking group has fewer than fifteen people, the tour can be conducted in both English and Spanish).
Lasting one hour and a half.
Visit to the cathedral and the Giralda, Plaza de España, the beautiful banks of the river Guadalquivir, the Golden Tower, the districts of Santa Cruz and Triana, the Maestranza Bullring, and Cartuja Island. Free time to explore and have lunch.
18.00hrs- Transfer to Santa Justa station to catch the high speed train to travel for 2 ½ h on a high-speed train to Madrid. The train is quite comfortable and it is an enjoyable trip through Andalusian and Castilian landscapes. Possibility for the train to reach speeds of around 300 km/h (186 m/h).
(If the group has more than 20 people, they will be accompanied by a guide).
Note: Your luggage during the train ride will be under your responsibility and custody. The total limit is 20 kg, and the dimensions must not exceed (length + width + high) of 250 cm. The railway services company shall not assume responsibility for any incidents in relation to luggage.
Day 6: Madrid - Zaragoza - Poblet - Montserrat - Barcelona.
Total distance: 640Km
Scenery: different landscapes on the Spanish plateau and fertile areas in Catalonia.
07:30h Madrid – Departure.
12:00h Zaragoza – Arrival at this city, which stands on the banks of the river Ebro. The guide will join the group to Basilica del Pilar. Free time to visit this impressive sanctuary and have lunch in the city centre.
14:00 hrs. -Zaragoza.- Departure on our way to Catalunia.
16:30 hrs. – Monastery of Poblet. Surrounded by walls in a beautiful setting, this is one of the best preserved medieval monasteries in the world (entrance and guided tour included).
17:30 hrs. – Monastery of Poblet.- Departure.- We cross rich agricultural regions of central Catalonia. We go to the beautiful scenery where the Benedictine abbey is located. We climb to the summit in small rack train to admire the fantastic landscapes
18:45 hrs. -Monasterio de Montserrat.- Arrival.- Time to admire the views and visit the sanctuary where the Virgin of Montserrat, patron saint of Catalonia, is located.
19:45 hrs. -Montserrat.- road exit.
20:45 hrs. - Barcelona.- Arrival.
Important note: In the Winter months, from November to March (both included), due to the shorter days, the Monastery of Poblet will not be visited (so that we can reach Montserrat in the daylight).
Day 7: Barcelona.
Highlights: Barcelona Guided tour lasting 3 hours; visit to “Poble Espanyol”, with admission included; transfer to Plaza de Cataluña and the Ramblas.
09:00h.- Tour of the city with a local guide(note: if the group has fewer than fifteen people, explanations can be given by our guide) who will tell us about this exciting city on the shores of the Mediterranean. We will visit the city’s historic central area with its Gothic neighborhood dating back to the Middle Ages. We will visit the area where the Olympic Games took place. It will be possible to see and photograph La Sagrada Familia basilica; the masterpiece designed by the architect Gaudí.
Subsequently, we include the entry ticket to “Poble Espanyol” (meaning, Spanish Village), an open-air museum that combines the art, traditions, architecture, arts and crafts and folklore of each of the Spanish regions. Time for lunch. Free afternoon.
18:30h.- Transfer to Plaza de Cataluña and the Ramblas, the heart of the city, where there are many restaurants where you can dine. Return to hotel about 22.00 hrs.
Day 8: Back To Home
After breakfast, end of our services.

Shoes on Loose planned the entire trip was superb stress free and as per my requirement. The agents were very supportive. Arrangements from food, cab, accommodation was all taken care off.
