Day 1: Arrive at Jodhpur
On reaching Jodhpur, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Jodhpur is the stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan, founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Your 4 day itinerary involves a lot of sightseeing in and around Jodhpur. After some leisure head for local city sight seeing tour, visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal . Also visit Jaswant Thada & Step well – toorji ka jhalara, an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant singh II around 1899 and Umaid Public gardens. After lunch take a tour of the city museum at Umaid Bhawan Palace and then stroll around clock tower, return back to hotel and overnight stay.
Day 2: The Golden City beckons you (Drive to Jaisalmer)
After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Jaisalmer. Reach Jaisalmer by noon and head to the Fort city for a tour of the Sandstone Fort, Jaisalmer Fort, Patwan ki Haveli, The thar heritage museum, Rani ka Maha, Gadisagar Lake and the Sun City which is part of the fort. It’s time to explore the forts and Havelis of Jaisalmer and get awed by the grandeur.
*Optional – While all seems glorious in this town there is also a set of oppressed musician community which is struggling to keep their ancestral art form alive, The Merasi Music school aimed to help the children of this community play music. Don’t forget to get some Books / anything you want to for the children. Read it out to them and see the light in their eyes. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: History Gallore
After breakfast, Head to visit Bada Bagh , Jain Temple, Jaisalmer Museum. After visiting head out to know the shocking history of the Kuldhara village and the ruins around it, people believe its haunted try it and you might fish out something. In evening, drive to the Sam Dunes. Special stay at the Swiss tents in the Middle of the clean desert of Thar – Sand Dunes – Fulfilling your Fantasy of the Pyramid Shaped clean dunes which are difficult to find in Thar. Bonfire at the camp site with evening cultural show followed by dinner. Overnight stay at the camps.
Day 4: Back to Home
In morning, after breakfast try out the camel ride. Check-out the camps at noon and you'll be transferred to jaisalmer railway station.

Thanks shoes on loose for making my 1st marriage anniversary special , specially ashish he did excellent coordination and Kritagya too for confirmation of my tickets while returning back to Mumbai The only bad experience was the driver as he was a bluff master and used to show spots as per his convenience. My mistake was I didn't check the itinerary properly hence missed a few ......He even said his business does not depend on shoes on loose and the reviews don't matter . Anyways concentrating on the +ve..... I loved my experience !!
Rajasthan - this land of dunes, forts, history and wonderful hospitality. We had our tour booking done through Shoesonloose and the hotel arrangements were done perfectly.
