Day 1: Katunayake Colombo Airport – Kandy
Arrive at Colombo airport and transfer to Kandy. On your way to Kandy, take a pit stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage set amongst the verdant hills of Kegalle is a unique orphanage. This is the world's first and only elephant orphanage established to feed, nurse and house young elephants lost or abandoned by their mothers. Make good memories and capture moments while feeding the elephants and take a walk with them and see these once abandoned elephants happy and playful in their natural habitat.

Day 2: Explore Kandy
Known as Sri Lanka's cultural capital, Kandy withstood the Portuguese and Dutch for three centuries and was the capital city of the last Sinhalese kingdom, which at last tumbled to the British in 1815. Coming to things to do in Kandy, you can start with exploring the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, walk around Kandy Lake, breathe in the fragrance of the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, brush up on history at The National Museum of Kandy or light a candle at Kandy Devales. Moreover, Kandy and its satellite villages are the centre of the islands handicraft industry (items of wood, brass & silver) exquisite silver or gold jewellery and precious gems of many varieties including the world’s best blue and star sapphires.
Day 3: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya by Train and then Onward to Ella
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Nuwara Eliya, en route visit the tea plantation and the scenic drive where you can even see how tea is manufactured. Do taste the famous Ceylon Tea. Also, you can visit the Seetha Amman Temple in Seetha Eliya where as per the Hindu Mythology it’s also called the Ashok Vatika (a part of Ramayana Trail). Lunch at an Indian Restaurant and then get ready for the world's most scenic train ride and experience one of the most beautiful train journeys including one of the most photographed bridge, The Nine Arch Bridge. Reach Ella, Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Ella with Rafting and Onward Hikkaduwa
After breakfast proceed to Hikkaduwa, check in the hotel. Water sport activities. Rest of the day at leisure.

Rafting in Kelani River
Experience White Water Rafting in the picturesque Kelani River in Kitugala. The Kelani River is popular for 1957 blockbuster movie “Bridge on the River Kwai” in which the bridge was blown when the train was crossing the river was filmed in Kithulgala. This place is worthwhile for visiting and photographing as you pass the rapids of Kalani River.
Day 5: Hikkaduwa
Hikkaduwa is a seaside resort town in southwestern Sri Lanka.There are plenty of charming places to stay, a string of mellow beach bars and restaurants, good diving, surf schools, pristine beaches and impeccable food.

Day 6: Hikkaduwa –Colombo
After morning breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Colombo. Check in the hotel, day free for leisure activity. Boasting a rich colonial heritage, Colombo is a melting pot of races, religions, cultures, and fascinating places to visit. A city of contrasts, glimpse magnificent mansions complete with lush gardens and manicured lawns, exclusive fine dining establishments and shopping malls housing premium quality brands, contrasted with busy street markets and party places. The main seaport of Sri Lanka is in Colombo & adjoining it, is Pettah, a local bazaar & trading area. Other places of interest are the beautiful Buddhist temples, Hindu temples, mosques, the historic Wolfendhal church, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent, the Ceramic Corporation famous for its well-known brand “Noritake” and ODEL the renowned shopping centre. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7: Colombo
Morning after breakfast go for city tour in Colombo for shopping. Overnight stay at hotel.
City Tour: While on your city tour in Colombo you may visit famous places including Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park, National Museum, Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Independence Hall at Independence Square, and prominent Buddhist, Hindu, Islam and Christian places of worship. (Entrance fees to sites not included). For shopping, you may visit Odel, House of Fashion, (Wijaya gems) Majestic City, Noritake, etc.

Day 8: Airport Departure
Morning after breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed to airport for departure.
