Day 1: Arrive at Udaipur - Explore the City of Lakes
Pick up from Udaipur airport / railway station in private vehicle and you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and have some rest. After some leisure, we’ll head to visit Shilpgram (rural arts and craft complex), Saheliyon Ki Bari (Courtyard of the Maidens), Monsoon palace and Chetak Smarak. Explore the Bapu Bazaar and fill your bags with Rajasthani cuisines and handicrafts, collect some souvenirs if you want to. In evening, visit the Fatehsagar Lake - try delicious local cuisines at the lake side Chaupati watching the sun goes down. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Local sight-seeing in Udaipur
After breakfast and some leisure, we'll start our sightseeing with vintage car museum (collection of classic cars) and Gulab Bagh. Now we’ll head to City Palace Complex - an assortment of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens followed by Jagdish Temple.
In evening at 05:00 P.M., take the boat ride at the Lake Pichola - covering the tour of Jagmandir Palace and experience the mesmerising sunset over the magnificent Lake Pichola. Now, visit the Bagore ki Haveli museum where you can enjoy the evening Folk music and Dance show - Dharohar (07:00- 08:00 P.M.). Return to the hotel in evening for overnight stay.
Day 3: Visit Nathdwara and Kumbhalgarh
In morning after breakfast head to Nathdwara – a small, sleepy, dusty town 50 kms away from Udaipur. Enroute visit the Eklingji temple, built of granite and marble and has a large ornate with a four-faced black marble image of Lord Shiva. Visit the famous Shrinath Ji Temple at Nathdwara. Now, we’ll continue our journey to Kumbhalgarh. Visit the Kumbhalgarh Fort - encircled by thirteen elevated mountain peaks, the fortifications of the fort extend to the length of 36 km, second longest wall in the world after “The Great Wall of China’' which makes it an UNESCO World Heritage site. Spent some time to explore the fort area - enjoy the evening Light and sound Show inside the Fort premises. Check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.
*Optional - Night Jeep safari to track Black Panthers at Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary (can be arranged at additional charges if you want to).
Day 4: Head to Mount Abu (4-5 hrs. Journey)
Check-out the hotel after breakfast and we’ll continue our journey towards Mount Abu in private vehicle. Reach Mt. Abu in the afternoon. Check-in at the hotel and have some rest. In evening, we’ll head to visit Brahma Kumari Ashram (Peace park) which also hosts various spiritual cum educational retreat programmes.
Now head to visit Guru Shikhar (the highest point of Aravali ridges), Toad rock & Trevor’s Tank for bird watching if you’re interested. Enjoy your evening besides Nakki Lake to experience the astonishing view of sunset. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5: Local sight-seeing in Mount Abu and then back to home
Post breakfast, we’ll head to the Dilwara Jain Temples where you can see the carving in marble which achieved an impressive degree of subtlety and complexity, delicacy and intricate detail. Now we’ll head back to Udaipur - cab will drop you at Udaipur airport / railway station, continue your journey back to home.

Thanks shoes on loose for making my 1st marriage anniversary special , specially ashish he did excellent coordination and Kritagya too for confirmation of my tickets while returning back to Mumbai The only bad experience was the driver as he was a bluff master and used to show spots as per his convenience. My mistake was I didn't check the itinerary properly hence missed a few ......He even said his business does not depend on shoes on loose and the reviews don't matter . Anyways concentrating on the +ve..... I loved my experience !!
Rajasthan - this land of dunes, forts, history and wonderful hospitality. We had our tour booking done through Shoesonloose and the hotel arrangements were done perfectly.
