City marathons have always been adventurous but running the highest and one of the toughest marathons in the world with the scenic views pumping your adrenaline is something we all dream. Day 1: Delhi - Leh via Fly
Board the morning flight to Leh. Welcome at Leh airport from where you’ll be transferred to your hotel in private vehicle. Check-in at the hotel. Acclimatizing to the altitude is very important before doing any activity so we take rest till afternoon. In evening, venture out to the city market for a casual stroll (on your own). Don’t exert your body if you are feeling tired at any time during the day. Return to hotel in evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Leh - Nubra Valley
Check-out after breakfast, and brace yourself for the splendid drive over the mighty Khardung La – one of the highest motorable pass in the world at a height of 5602 M/ 18,380 ft. Over the route, the road dramatically plunges and Shyok & Nubra rivers unfold magically. You move on via Diskit to reach the white sands of Hunder. After freshening up, visit the Diskit monastery, which is believed to be the largest and oldest monastery in Nubra valley and enjoy the sunset. Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra.
Day 3: Nubra Valley - Pangong via Drive
After breakfast, drive the mound of earthen monastic dwellings, crowned by the Gompa. The valley is blessed with a beautiful stream flowing through it, originating from the lake, giving a greenish tincture to the otherwise dry landscape around. Apart from flora this area is rich in fauna too. You can see a lot of Himalayan Marmots around the area. However, the main attraction of this circuit is the grand Pangong Tso which you would reach by noon. The mesmerizing beauty and the fantastic view of Tso places it a league above anything you have seen so far. Overnight stay in Pangong.
Day 4: Pangong - Leh via Drive
Wake up lazy morning. Check-out the camps after breakfast and drive your way back to Leh. On the way back, visit the Sindhu Ghat and Shey, and Thiksey Monastery – the most powerful monasteries considered in Ladakh region followed by The Druk White Lotus School. Reach Leh in the evening. Dinner and overnight in Leh.
Day 5: Gear up for the Marathon (RUN LADAKH FOR FUN)
Wake up early morning. Reporting at NDS memorial stadium - we encourage our participants to walk to the start point for warm-up.Reporting Time - 06:30 A.M. (latest)Race Start Time - 07:00 A.M.Distance - 7 K.M.
Note -Baggage Deposit facility is available at the starting point, and items can be collected back at the finishing point of the race.
2 Hydration & Aid stations providing water and energy drinks during the marathon Route - Starting from the N.D.S. Memorial Stadium the route follows the Marathon course along the Leh-Manali highway till a little before the ITBP camp from we make a U-turn and retraces our steps to the starting point. Return to hotel in private vehicle and have some rest. Evening is free to explore the lanes of Leh market, you can also visit the Leh Palace (opens till 05:00 P.M.), collect some souvenirs if you want to. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6: Explore Leh
Post breakfast and some leisure, we’ll start our journey to Leh – Srinagar highway. The drive further is one of the most spectacular journeys you will have. From the mountains formed by amalgamation of various types and textures of rocks to the dazzling Zanskar Valley, accompanying you all along the journey the white snow clad peaks, this route gives you an absolute picturesque landscape. Head to visit the Magnetic hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of fame, confluence point, etc. Return to Leh in the evening and visit the Shanti Stupa. The sunset is the perfect backdrop you can wish for. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Bid the fairy land goodbye
In morning after breakfast, bid the Ladakh region goodbye and board the flight back to home.

Ø All ex-Leh transfers in (Xylo / Innova / Tempo Traveler - depending on the group size). All the sight-seeing and transfers as per the itinerary given above. Includes driver’s expenses, parking & toll charges and road taxes. Leh airport transfers included.

Hi, Would like to thank you for arranging a nice trip. I would like to add one small suggestion, first two days stay in Hotel Arya is not very great. The Hotel rooms were very cold and hospitality is not so great. Snow leopard was excellent. Javed has organized the trip very well.
