Situated at an altitude of 655 meters above sea level, Tattapani, as the name suggests is well known for its hot sulphur springs and draws the attention of hundreds of tourists annually. It is located along the banks of the Sutlej River and the sulphur hot springs are believed to have medicinal qualities and curative powers.
The rolling greens of Naldera Himachal Pradesh is about 25 km from Tattapani and is known as the oldest golf course in India. This is an unusual course, perched at a height of 2044 meters, strewn with boulders, trees, and little hillocks. Tall deodars flank the links making Naldehra a wonderful sports venue in the midst of natural beauty. Besides the glorious golfing, one can even go for long walks through the woods and picnics in the valley.
