The temple was establised by an European Lady in 1936 after she adopted Hinduism. It is dedicated to Lord Murugan or Kartikeya. The main attraction of this place is the Kuriniji flower which blossoms once in 12 months. The beautiful landscape of Kurinji flower can be spotted draping the hill sides of the temple if you visit Kodaikanal in the peak season. The temple also hosts the mesmerizing view of the Palani and Vaigai Dam.
