Bali Holidays Customer's Case Studies Post- Volcanic Situation-1 Should I go still to Bali? How do I go there? Where else can I go?

After the volcanic eruption in Bali, a number of tourists traveling to Bali were in serious doubt how to go to Bali or where else they could travel. As the volcanic threat in Bali had reached another notch, it resulted in the airport to be closed from 27th to 30th November as it was not safe enough to travel to Bali by air because the visibility was not to the par level for flights to take off and land. But, it didn't mean that our clients had to cancel their travel plans completely. We didn't want them to get away with their travel plans and the excitement to spend a vacation. To make that happen, we happily re-arranged the itineraries to make sure our customers spend a happy vacation. Here are few cases where Shoes On Loose tailored a new destination with a new itinerary, also the last minute for those who didn't want to cancel their trips, we redirected them with alternative ways to get to Bali.

Case Study 1

Client Name: Devrishi Nandan Nitesh

Type of travel: Honeymoon

Mr. Devrishi's travel destination was changed from Bali to Phuket(Thailand) at the eleventh hour on his request after we got to know about the alarming situation in Bali. His connecting flight was canceled from Kuala Lumpur, Singapore to Bali and a whole new package for Phuket was created by the Shoes On Loose's representative to make sure he enjoys his vacations in Phuket as well.

Mrs. Dishika didn't want to cancel on Bali. So instead we helped her in changing her mode of transportation. She was laying over at Kuala Lumpur when she heard of the volcanic eruption in Bali and asked if it is possible in any way to reach Bali. Eventually, her flight was booked from Kuala Lumpur to Surabaya. From Surabaya, she was transferred to Bali via roadways and later took the waterways(11hrs journey).

She was a little behind her schedule due to change in plans but reached and returned safely from Bali.

Cost was borne by the client: 65$
