From Manali, we’ll head to Gulaba which is the base camp of the trek and is 22 kms away from Manali. We’ll start our trek underneath forest covers and after walking for 40 minutes, we will reach an open meadow where we will camp for the night.
We will start our trek from Gulaba, crossing forest covers and rare flowers which are a delight to the eyes. We’ll walk alongside the Kolang Nallah and after a few kilometers, will have to cross it to get on the other side. We’ll continue our journey for the next 3 hours after which we’ll reach Rola Kholi which is a grazing ground for the local shepherds and their livestock. Overnight stay will be in camps in Rola Kholi.
We’ll start early in the morning to avoid bad weather at Beas Kund. We’ll approach Beas Kund slowly as the roads will be filled with snow and can get a little slippery. We’ll continue on our journey and reach Bhrigu Lake which will be surrounded by panoramic views of nature. You can enjoy fresh grass and a few alpine flowers alongside the lake.
We’ll descend down the Pandu Ropa forest ridge and reach Vashisht where the trek will end. From there you will be transferred to Manali by vehicle.
